Get in Touch
We respond to all inquiries within two business days. If your question relates to a specific route or requires detailed consultation, response may take slightly longer.
Office Location
Our administrative office is located in the Yorkshire Dales, though most of our work happens in the field rather than behind a desk.

During active walking seasons (April-October), response times may extend as team members are often in the field. We check email daily but may not respond immediately if we're on route.
What to Include in Your Inquiry
To help us respond effectively, please include:
- Which route interests you, or what type of walking you're looking for
- Your general fitness level and previous hiking experience
- Preferred time of year or specific date constraints
- Group size if booking for multiple people
- Any specific historical or geographical interests
For custom route inquiries, also describe:
- Geographic region you want to explore
- Historical period or theme of interest
- Desired route length and difficulty
- Timeline for when you'd like to walk
Booking Process
Route bookings require a deposit of thirty percent, with full payment due four weeks before departure. We maintain a cancellation policy that balances flexibility with the practical requirements of organizing small-group expeditions.
Detailed terms, including weather-related postponement procedures, are provided during the booking process.
Accessibility Considerations
Our routes involve sustained walking over uneven terrain, often in remote locations with limited infrastructure. Most are not suitable for individuals with significant mobility limitations.
However, we're willing to discuss adaptations for people with specific access needs. If you have questions about whether a particular route might work for you, please contact us with details about your situation. We can't always find solutions, but we'll give honest assessments rather than generic reassurances.
Research Collaborations
We occasionally work with academic researchers, documentary producers, and historical organizations. If you're interested in collaborative projects related to historical routes or landscape archaeology, include relevant credentials and project descriptions in your initial contact.
